Be the total expression of YOU!

We have been programmed that in order to fit in we have to be like everyone else.  To be accepted we have to follow the crowd, but there is a reason YOU were created!  YOU have something unique and special to offer the world that only YOU can offer.  So why not put all of your energy into being authentically YOU!

The Beauty of Feminine Consciousness is emerging…

299938_10151183626653940_1276406598_n

“In Blessed Mother’s view, all are lovable; all souls are accepted, all carry a sweetness of heart, are beautiful to the eyes; worthy of consciousness, of being inspired, being helped, being comforted and protected — even if other mere humans believe foolishly or blindly to the contrary.”

An Excerpt from Untie the Strong Woman: Blessed Mother’s Immaculate Love for the Soul by Clarissa Pinkola Estes

As women we get so hung up on physical appearance to the point that this is a female affliction carried in some form by most females on the planet.  We think that the only way we can attract men is to be beautiful and there is a billion dollar industry feeding off this issue.

With the shifting of the ages this affliction is being release and the true feminine beauty is being revealed.  The feminine energy has been suppressed for 2000 years so you can imagine this hiding was like a veil covering our true beauty as women.  There was purpose in hiding the feminine but it is now coming out of hiding.  Our consciousness as women is shifting away from concern about our physical appearance toward the beauty carried by the feminine energy.  People will be attracted to our empathy, sensitivity, creativity, intuition and receptivity and those are the things that will make us magnetic.

Seeds and Spring

…seeds are invisible. They sleep deep in the heart of the earth’s darkness, until some one among them is seized with the desire to awaken.

I love Spring because of the excitement of knowing that there are seeds that we haven’t seen all winter that are about to burst forth from the ground and become something beautiful. It amazing me that seeds have been in the cold ground, in the darkness waiting for the cue to come on to the stage.  Waiting for their time to shine.

Our lives are like a series of seeds, programmed to flower at certain times in our lives.  Some of those seeds lay dormant for years as we wait impatiently for them to burst forth.  We try to force some of them to bloom before their time because we become impatient.  Some of them sprout from the ground and surprise us.

That is the magic and beauty of life.  There are always new seeds, planted with our thoughts, beginning new journeys of becoming.  The art of allowing is to sit in the flow of the grace of the Universe and watch the magic burst forth as it moves through the various stages of the process of becoming a flower.

Velveteen Rabbit Beauty

The “cool dude” pictured above is my version of the Velveteen Rabbit.  I named him “Sunny” because he always wears his fabulous sun glasses, (because they are sewed to his head) and he has an awesome disposition. I imagine he was cool when he was new, but he is super cool now.  He is a homemade rabbit and I bet some little old lady made him for her grandson or granddaughter.  I bet he looked awesome in his bright red pants and his red, unscratched sunglasses and I bet his brown plush fur was amazing, but back than he hadn’t become real yet.

I bought him at an antique shop years ago and he was already old.  That is what I like about him. I know for sure he was loved before I got him and he has sure been loved since he moved in with me.  He is old, dusty, not so cuddly and his red overalls are now pink, so they almost match his pink sunglasses, which probably use to be red too. He doesn’t seem to mind that his pants and glasses are pink.  His fur is worn out in some places and his yarn features are wearing away, but you can still see his smile.  Sunny is Real!  He is the best Sunny I know, because he is his authentic self.

The Velveteen Rabbit Realness

Most of us read the Velveteen Rabbit when we were children.  It is the story of a little toy stuffed rabbit who dreams of becoming “real”.  The Velveteen Rabbit gets advice from the Old Skin Horse who’d lived in the nursery longer than any of the other animals. He was the resident old soul and he was wise and kind. The Velveteen Rabbit longed to become real and it was the wizened old Skin Horse that had the answers.

The Skin Horse told Rabbit, “Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.”   I love that!  You are only ugly to people who don’t know you and who don’t understand you.

Beauty – true beauty – is about being real. It’s about becoming the real person that you were intended to be, which is really a challenge when most of society trains us to conform.  We are told that to fit in and be loved we must be like other people.  The silly thing about that is that each of us is unique and no one can be like us.  No one can do the special things we came to do.  No one looks like us, has our personality or our special gifts.  To think we could all be the same is like comparing apples to oranges.

The Pulse of Beauty

The pulse of beauty has always come from Hollywood or Paris through models who work 10-12 hours a day to maintain the way they look. Many of them suffer from eating disorders because the weight standards are so low.  With modern technology they can be touched up through Photoshop before they even hit the magazines they are featured in.   The Hollywood version of beauty is not real, it is manipulated and so are we if we buy into it.

The fashion world creates trends, and we are led to believe that we need to keep up with the current fashions.  When I was in high school if you weren’t wearing the current fashion trend you were not considered cool.  I know it is still that way and Abercrombie and Fitch, Tommy Hilfiger and Vera Wang seem to know what we would all look good in.  What if I want to wear faded pink overalls and scratched pink sunglasses, like Sunny does, will that make me look less beautiful?  I know for sure that I would have been laughed at back in High School because that is where conformity really took it’s roots.

Becoming Real

It’s just as Margery Williams said in The Velveteen Rabbit. “Real isn’t how you are made,” the skin horse told the Velveteen Rabbit in this meaningful story. Rather, “it’s a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.”  Real isn’t how we look or what we wear.  Life makes us more beautiful because of our life experiences, which push us to become more authentic.  Life makes our pants fade, scratches our sunglasses and wears off our fur and in the process we become more beautiful.

I have learned that beauty is truly about “being real,”, which means being the best you that you can be.  When you hold back and don’t shine your true self, others miss out on something that is very precious.   To me, choosing to be present and open and living from your heart is being real and just like the Velveteen Rabbit, understanding that only loving and believing in yourself can make you real

True beauty has so very little to do with what you look like, but everything to do with what you radiate from within.

What would happen if we all stopped paying attention to the Hollywood and Paris status quo?  What if we dressed to suit our hearts desire and let our soul speak out.  What if we embraced our uniqueness and lived authentic lives? What if we didn’t cover up and hide who we are to fit in?  What if we didn’t care what people thought about us?  What if we said what we meant and meant what we said? What would the world look like if we were all Real? I think that is the way things are heading and I can wait to watch what happens.

Beauty Feng Shui

“Life is a reflection of your thoughts.  If you change your thinking, you change your life.”
Hummm, can I really change how I look and how people see me by making Feng  Shui adjustments?  I was curious after finding some articles on Feng Shui for beauty and only found minimal information on it,  so I bought several books to learn more about it.  It makes sense because we are always reading people’s energy whether we know it or not and Feng Shui beauty is reading people’s energy and reflecting that on the outside.  It enhances the energy that is our true beauty.
Enthusiasts of the ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui say happiness and prosperity can be achieved by arranging your home in a certain way, but Feng Shui not just for the house anymore.  In fact, the origins of Feng Shui is really the mind-body connection and how we align ourselves to all areas of our lives.  People think of magic, superstition or religion when they hear the word Feng Shui but it is not any of those things.  It’s about ENERGY and how it affects everything in our lives.  Energy (chi) flows in, around and through our bodies every minute of every day. Everything in the world according to Feng Shui belongs to one of the five elements or energies, being fire, earth, metal, water and wood and we can change how it flows by doing certain adjustments. The physical adjustments are not the most important part of Feng Shui, they just give us visible reminders to change how we think consciously and unconsciously.
How we dress, wear make up, or not, wear our hair and the food we eat, have a direct result on our chi and that has a direct impact on how people see and relate to us.  If we want to  radiate authentic beauty it is important to align and harmonize the flow of our chi.  While blood carries oxygen and nutrients, chi carries thoughts, ideas, emotions and dreams.  What you think and the way that you think have a great deal of influence on outcomes in our lives.  Chi is an energy force that is flavored by our thoughts, emotions and feelings and people around us intuitively pick up on, and base their responses on it.

What are the effects of dis-harmonized chi? Here are three prominent examples.

• Negative chi, caused by excessive light and artificial energy (such as air conditioning), can cause mental and physical exhaustion.

• Strong chi (like that produced by dampness and drafts) can result in two polarized attitudes, depending on the person: either excessive emotion and over-excitement, or depression and lack of direction.

• Fast-flowing chi (which you can feel on very windy days) can make one over talkative and paranoid, fearful of personal attack

Feng Shui Beauty is understanding and enhancing your energy/chi through the five elements.  Billy Yamaguchi pioneered the concept of applying the principles of these elements to your hair, makeup and personal lifestyle.  According to Yamaguchi, all five elements are present in everyone but two elements are usually dominate.

If you were to consult a beauty Feng Shui practitioner they would the would look at the sum of your parts; spiritual, mental and physical, to create a wardrobe that is fulfilling, fortifying, flattering and functional.  As long as we are going with all the ‘f’s’ lets add Fun to the mix.  They might use the Transformational Triad.

The Transformational Triad concept leads us to balance our essence with our intention that changes over time to create a harmonious appearance.
  • Essential Energy (ESSENCE) is unconsciously expressed. It is the energetic lens through which you see the world, the assimilation of your core (driving force), character (emotional nature), and conduct (way of being) – the unique “essence”… that is you.
  • Intentional Energy (INTENTION) is consciously created. It is the energy attached to what you have “in mind” to be, do and have.
  • Visual Energy (APPEARANCE) is physically transmitted. It is the vibrational pattern created by “how you look,” influenced by the energies inherent in your physical coloring and body shape, and the colors, patterns, textures, fabrics and silhouettes of the clothes you wear.

It makes sense to me that if we look at our self from this prospective and enhance our inherent strengths we will project more of our authentic beauty.  It sounds like a fun thing to experiment with to see if anyone notices.

Beauty and the Law of Attraction

I have been using the Law of Attraction for many years and have experienced the power of my thoughts becoming things.  Sometimes they have become things that I wouldn’t have wished for if they were conscious. Other times something I was thinking about and dreaming about manifest as if by magic!  I know how powerful our thoughts are and I know that if we change them our life can change.

In today’s society, changing one’s appearance through hair color, eye contacts, and having cosmetic surgery all seems to be the answer to creating the “new you.” So is it possible to change the physical appearance by applying the Law of Attraction for new good looks rather than working on our outer appearane.

No one who is truly beautiful think of themselves as ugly. Those two things can not co-exist.  Complete beauty is both inner and outer beauty. Inner beauty is what people call self-image or self esteem.  If you believe you are unattractive and ugly, no matter what kind of clothes or jewelry you wear or how much you try to enhance your appearance, you will still never be truly beautiful. If we think and believe we are not attractive we will continue to manifest people and circumstances that reinforce the belief.  We are sending out a frequency to those around us that we are not beautiful and that will mask our true beauty so people can’t see it.

Conversely, if you believe you are beautiful regardless of your appearance you will radiate beauty and that is what people will see.  An example of this is J.R. Martinez who is currently on Dancing With the Stars.

In February 2003, he was deployed to Iraq. Two months later, Martinez was serving as a driver of a Humvee when the left front tire hit a landmine; he suffered smoke inhalation and severe burns to more than 40 percent of his body.  He spent 34 months at BAMC and has undergone 33 cosmetic and skin-graft surgeries.  As you can see in the small inset photo, his face is not the same with much of it being reconstructed.

Yet on the show he radiates beauty as he dances as if he was whole and complete and never burned.  There he is in front of millions of people and it appears as if he is not concerned at all about his appearance.  He is just beautiful and it comes from within.

How your beauty is perceived by society starts within you. You and only you possess the ability to attract others, whether you have a perfect Barbie doll figure or not. When you can look inside yourself and and love your inner appearance, this confidence and joy will radiate from your inner being and that is what other people will be attracted to.

Who you are inside creates the results you get outside. Once you change the way you are inside, the outer world changes. The energy you give out attracts and creates the results you get. Change your inner energy and you change your results.

Start within and find out what you like about yourself.  What are your gifts? Are you compassionate to those around you? Are you grateful for what you have and happy what yourself? Now look in the mirror and see what it is that you like from the outside. We all have a tendency to focus on the things we doing like when we look in the mirror and it is important not to point out the flaws that you think you have.  Instead focus on the things you really like about you, from the inside to the outside.  Let those perceived ” flaws” fall into the background and fill the foreground with what you like. Accept every bump and mole and realize that these are a part of you, but they are not the inner you.   When you begin to see that you are just like everyone else on this Earth and that you are a wonderful being no matter what, you will begin to assume a glow that become attractive to others.

You will attract the kind of people that you want to be near just by loving and accepting who you are, and by thanking the Universe for the wonderful gift of life it has given you to create  through. They will want to be around you because you possess something that many people don’t have in these days of air brushed photos in magazines, and that is a beauty from within that is so great that your outward appearance becomes to others the perception of what you feel about yourself. The inner you is what possesses the beauty.

To enhance the power of the Law of Attraction you can create beauty affirmations. An affirmation is sentence that is written in present for with the intention of replacing negative limiting thought patterns. Once you can change a belief, law of attraction can start bringing you new amazing things.  There are literally thousands of processes you can use for your affirmations for beauty and law of attraction. The most important thing is that you find a program that feels good to do and that you see results after 30 days of practice.

At first it might seem akward and you might not believe what you are saying  “I am beautiful” which could be  a massive jump right now, which could push old beliefs to the surface, begin by saying I choose to begin thinking I am… or I intent to start thinking I am… Or I intent to start being…

Affirmations for beauty will in time make you feel much better towards the way you look. Over time you will start to radiate inner beauty and the way people see you and you see yourself will change.   You can get to the point where all resistance towards your appearance is released and law of attraction is free to manifest whatever you want.
